Membership Options

Explore the different membership options available at the Nanaimo Lawn Bowling Club. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the sport, no matter your age or ability, we have an option to suit your needs, level, and interest.

Full membership: fee $200

Allows a member full access to all draws, leagues, tournaments, and all social and special events at the club. They have voting rights at our AGM and receives the weekly newsletter.

Junior membership: Fee $50

This membership type is for anyone under 19 years of age. A Junior member has full access to draws, club tournaments and if qualified can enter District tournaments.

VIP membership: Fee $50

Nanaimo Lawn Bowling Club offers a Vision Impaired Program which allows members to play once a week on Tuesday mornings ONLY with the help of club volunteers who assist players with the direction and the length that they must roll their bowls to get to the head. A VIP will receive a weekly newsletter if they request it and has the right to vote on club issues at our AGM.

Social membership: Fee $15

This type of membership allows members to attend our social and special events. Most Social members will volunteer whenever a social or special event occurs such as fundraisers or special tournaments. They are not allowed to play on the green nor can they vote on club issues at our AGM. They will however receive the club’s weekly newsletter.
